History
International Radiant Inc. was originally founded in 1955 under the name of International
Infra-Red Inc. In 1988 it was purchased by Thomas M. Blake, then national sales & marketing manager for Detroit Radiant Products Co. Since then, the entire Blake family has become involved
in building the company into an industry leader - obtaining top industry awards for quality and service. The Blake family and the group efforts of the complete "International
Radiant team" continue to move us to the forefront of the specialty heating industry. Our 30+ years of careful attention to all the details necessary to meet the demands of our repeat
customers, allow us to move forward and to exceed your expectations.
International Radiant started as a supplier of energy efficient gas fired infra-red heating systems for commercial, industrial, and agricultural buildings located throughout the greater Detroit, Michigan area. During the following years International Radiant Inc. has added additional energy efficient industrial heating and ventilating lines to include direct and indirect fired gas make-up air units and space heaters, air rotation systems, industrial exhaust/supply fans and louvers.
Growth
We attribute our
growth and success to our continued focus on the distribution of quality products which are energy efficient and serve the needs of the HVAC contractor, industrial plant engineer, and commercial building owner. We currently serve the Michigan territory from our Madison Heights office/warehouse location. This enables us to maintain a large inventory of heaters and repair parts for immediate shipment to our customers. Our goal is to be the leading specialty heating systems supplier specializing in the application and sales of industrial and commercial HVAC equipment.
